SeatacBMX.org North SeaTac BMX Park is home of the premier developmental BMX race team - VORTEX BMX! Joining VORTEX BMX is a great way to get started racing. You'll enjoy many of the benefits normally offered only to more experienced riders. VORTEX BMX riders receive an ABA membership; a super cool custom jersey; a custom number plate; coaching & clinics; 5 free gate practices; sponsorship with the opportunity to order protective gear and bicycle parts at special team prices; and a true team experience! May Calendar & Vortex Garden Day May 11th

Hey Vortex,

On Tuesday, May 11th, from 6-8, we are asking all able Vortex families to come to SeaTac BMX and help spruce up the garden beds with some weeding, edging, raking and planting of flowers. Bring the kids, they can help or ride at gate practice. We can all then chip in and order pizza for Vortex families.

Lots of Vortex parents have asked how they can help SeaTac... this is your chance. SeaTac BMX is run by 100% volunteers. We'd love to have the garden beds looking great as the season kicks into high gear. We really appreciate any help. The city does not maintain SeaTac BMX Park, our volunteers do.

Please bring garden gloves and any small garden hand tools for digging weeds and planting. The Shoopmans will provide an edging machine and the track has rakes&shovels.

May 1st - Racing, sign ups 1:30-2:30
May 2nd - SeaTac is closed for the SCR is Yakima - we'd like to run a team sheet so let me know if your going
May 4th - gate practice 6pm-8pm
May 8th - Racing, sign ups 1:30-2:30
May 9th - Mother's Day races at SeaTac sign ups 1:30-2:30
May 11th - Vortex Volunteer Day to spruce up garden beds 6-8pm (also gate practice)
May 15th & 16th - SeaTac closed for Redline Cup Qualifier and SCR in Walla Walla
May 18th - gate practice 6pm-8pm
May 22nd - Racing, sign ups 1:30-2:30
May 23rd - Racing, sign ups 1:30-2:30
May 25th - gate practice 6pm-8pm
May 29th - Earned Double at SeaTac BMX, sign ups 1:30-2:30, race fee is $20
May 30th - Race for Life (Double Point) at SeaTac BMX, sign ups 1:30-2:30, race fee is $20
- This is a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, please collect pledges, you can get an RFL envelope at the sign up window. Prizes for money raised.
May 31st - Memorial Day - SCR at SeaTac BMX - double points - sign ups 9-11am, race fee is $20
