Bluejayz win streak reaches 14 with win

Jose Barboza
Selma Bluejayz kept the win streak alive by routing the Koras on the road to run the season high win streak to 14 in a row. The win brings the Bluejays to one shy of the league record held by the Huron Augilas, and two away from breaking it. The way the Bluejayz are playing ball it would be very hard to stop them now.
Lead by Jose Cerda's two homeruns a two run shot and the other a three run shot both to left field gave a the Bluejays the jolt they needed to run on to another lopsided win. Joe Garcia got in on the action and belted his first career Bluejayz homerun since he started playing five years ago. The Bluejayz totaled 17 hits and scored 18 runs in the route. Michael Chavez went 3-3 to bring his season avg to .469 on the year. Jaime Cerda went 3-6 to raise his season batting avg to .500. Jose Cerda is right behind his younger brother with a .474 batting avg.
The Bluejays return home this week to play the Mets at Bretlinger park at 10am.
