It’s that TIME AGAIN – Volunteers are needed!  

Please let me know if you are willing to take a lead role to organize one of the following     I have some ideas of who I’d like to nominate if you don’t volunteer.  LOL

1) Silent Auction  __________________   

 2)  Confirm Vendors   ________________________   

3)  Baked Goods   ______________________________    

4) Hit-A-Thon  ____________________________      

5) Organize Cancer Survivors or Recognitions   _________________________

Langham Creek and Cy-Lakes’s softball have combined efforts to make our STRIKE OUT game on Tuesday, April 10th at home…HUGE!!  The proceeds from this game will be divided between The Breast Cancer charities and our Lobo Softball program. In order to make this one for the records, we need all families to “step up to the plate.”    We need help in the following areas – please let us know where you can contribute!!

             SILENT AUCTION - Donate items to make gift baskets or get with other parents and share the fun of creating a basket that will be auctioned at the event. Be creative – you could do a Fiesta, Italian, Texas A&M (insert your favorite college here!), Dinner & Movie themed baskets. Use your imagination.  If it’s a theme you would like, chances are that others would too.      IDEAS from prior year:  Hair Salon gift cards,  Astros or Event tickets, Blanket, Movie Tickets (Rave typically donates free tix), Jewelry, Laser Tag, Restaurants – Carrabba’s offered to donate a basket, Creative Memories gift certification, Portrait Studios,

             Solicitation and Donation letters are attached.

             VENDORS – If you know of anyone who would like to set up an information table or craft booth, please let us know.   They are able to set up from 4:00-6:30.  Prior vendors have included:  High Maintenance Bling, Avon, Creative Memories, Pampered Chef, Funnel Cake/Lemonade stand

             BAKED GOODS – Players, family, friends to donate baked goods to sell.  Cookies, brownies, rice crispy treats, etc.  Please package to sell.

             ADVERTISEMENT - Get the word out to the community – do you have TV or Radio contacts?? Advertise in your Community Newsletter (please note they have deadlines for publications).

             RECOGNITIONS:  Anyone we can honor or recognize at this event?  We are looking for Cancer Survivors to attend.

             Most importantly INVITE friends and neighbors to come support a great cause (remind them to bring their checkbook!)
